AMASS at industry-targeted events

Previous posts have reported on AMASS presence at different conferences, workshops, and meetings, mostly at research-oriented ones (e.g. SAFECOMP 2016). However, the project’s dissemination activity has not been limited to only academic audiences, but AMASS has also been introduced at several industry-targeted events.

The AMASS baseline deliverables have been published

The AMASS deliverables that present the baseline for the project have already been published. These deliverables review the state of the art and the state of the practice related to the four scientific and technical objectives of the project: Architecture-Driven Assurance, Multi-Concern Assurance, Seamless Interoperability, and Cross- and Intra-Domain Reuse.

2nd AMASS General Meeting

The AMASS consortium gathered together in Munich on October 27th and 28th for the 2nd General Meeting of the project. The meeting was hosted by Infineon at its headquarters, and 47 people attended the meeting, with representatives from all the partners.

AMASS presence at SAFECOMP 2016

As explained in a prior post, AMASS contributed to the organization of the SASSUR workshop at SAFECOMP 2016, the 35th International Conference on Computer Safety, Reliability and Security.  The AMASS “white paper” was presented at SASSUR. In addition, some AMASS partners participated in other SAFECOMP events.

SASSUR 2016 has been successfully held

SASSUR 2016, the Fifth International Workshop on Next Generation of System Assurance Approaches for Safety-Critical Systems, was held on September 20, 2016, in Trondheim, Norway, as a SAFECOMP 2016 workshop. SASSUR is one of the key events for scientific dissemination in AMASS, and the project supported the organisation of the workshop.

AMASS is already present at international conferences!

AMASS dissemination work will play a major role so that the project reaches its expected impact. This work has indeed been going on since the beginning of the project. From the description of the background technologies to the explanation of what the project aims to achieve, AMASS partners are contributing to project dissemination.

AMASS meeting in Vienna

AIT hosted an AMASS meeting in Vienna on July 5th and 6th. The overall purpose of the meeting was to discuss the baseline work from which the project needs to develop the AMASS Reference Tool Architecture (ARTA), the Common Assurance and Certification Metamodel (CACM), and the approaches for multi-concern assurance and for cross- and intra-domain assurance reuse.
